What is Operation Christmas Child?
 It is a project by Samaritan's Purse that delivers shoeboxes of gifts to children in need around the world. The gifts include toys, school supplies, and hygiene items.

  • Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered more than 220 million shoeboxes to children in over 170 countries and territories
  • For many children, the shoebox is their first gift
  • Samaritan's Purse has trained over 2.2 million volunteers to teach a discipleship course for shoebox recipients
